I've been here all week.  I got fresh turns all day wednesday and thursday.  Today I hiked to the top, had lunch in the gondi building and skied nitro, misery whip, wiffletree, and ended the run with some freshies in the turbo tubing park.  A short hike back to the lift and I was good to go for some more freshies but I'm not telling you where they were.  The fresh snow we got really livened things up here.  With good freeze/thaw cicles going on daily the mashed potatoes are turning into corny goodness.  I saw lots of good skiers today from other mountains.  My advise: go east.  You are fools if you don't ski the loaf this weekend.  Almost all trails can be skied back to the lift without leaving the snow.

FYI sugarloaf closes monday not sunday and if another mountain would like to up the anti, we could close later.

I had a great time skiing there on Thursday, thanks to the SnowSource report. Could hardly believe I was skiing in May. The ungroomed snow was a little dense and difficult to handle but it felt great to finish the season with a challenge. Groomed trails were a sheer delight. A mere path of thin snow led back to the lift, but it was enough.

As I drove away, a snow squall all but obliterated views of the mountaintop. Amazing.
